National team head coach Cho Kwang-rae has revealed that he will use a 3-4-2-1 formation in the upcoming match against Nigeria.
The head coach explained at a press conference at the Paju National Training Center that with his 3-4-2-1 formation, when the team is on the offense a center-back will join the midfield line to play as a defensive midfielder and that the wingbacks will be expected to attack the flanks.
The first half of the match will be played mostly by those who were involved in the Nigeria match during the 2010 World Cup. In the second half of the match, however, the head coach will put in test his new players with the 2011 Asian Cup and 2014 Brazil World Cup in mind.
