The draw for the semi-finals of the 2010 Hana Bank Korean FA Cup has paired defending cup holders Suwon Samsung Bluewings with current K-League leaders Jeju United in what is sure to be a hotly contested affair.
Jeju, who secured a psychological boost with a 3-0 win at the Suwon World Cup stadium on Saturday, will again travel to the same venue for the semi-final match on Wednesday September 29th as they chase a domestic double, whilst Suwon still retain hopes of a treble as they have continued interest in both the K-League title race and the AFC Champions League knockout stages.
The other semi-final paired Busan I’Park with three-time FA Cup winners Chunnam Dragons, with that match scheduled to take place at the Busan Asiad stadium on the same evening.
The two winners will meet in the FA Cup final on Sunday October 24th, 2010.
