18-year old midfielder Son Heung-min continued to add to his burgeoning reputation as a starlet in the Bundesliga with a well-taken brace against Hannover 86.
The fleet-footed youngster was on hand to receive a timely cross in the box after a terrific run on the left wing by Jonathan Pitroipa only five minutes before the half-time interval to equalize. It was a simple tap-in for Son, who grabbed his second of a fledgling season. Ten minutes after the restart, Son then doubled his tally, and subsequently grabbed his third of the season, with a terrifically placed header after another terrific bit of wide play by Pitroipa. However, Hamburg’s defensive prowess was not quite commensurate with their offensive flair and conceded an impressive goal from Christian Schulz only five minutes later. Hamburg continued in search of a winner, Son agonizingly hitting the post from an acute angle and missing out on his first professional hat-trick, but instead it was Hannover who grabbed the chance — Mike Hanke knocking in a heartbreaking winner in stoppage time.

Hope they can still get a tournament spot
Watched that last one go in by hannover…. it was at the 90 minute mark. Hamburg needs to play a little better defense. The first goal by Hannover was a mistake entirely by one of the central defenders. However Hamburg is missing one of their starting central defenders as he was injured during a national league match.
