After impressive showings against Halstenbeck Rellingen, Hajduk Split and Juventus, young attacker Son Heung-Min continued his formidable pre-season form by scoring a brace in a 6-0 rout of fourth-division side SV Reutte.
Manager Armin Veh elected to field two completely different teams in each half and after Ruud van Nistelrooy had opened the floodgates with two well-taken first half goals, Son was quick to follow suit and net a 120-second brace starting in the 71st minute. The youngster’s speed and knack of scoring seems to be his modus operandi these days — the quickfire double was reminiscent of his five minute hat-trick against Halstenbeck Rellingen earlier in the month.
