Korean international defender Lee Jung-soo (30) has officially signed for Al-Sadd on a 3-year deal.
Lee, who last played for Kashima Antlers in Japan, drew interest from overseas clubs as he scored 2 goals for South Korea during the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. Reports say the Japanese club received ¥200,000,000 from the Qatari club.
Statements from the Al-Sadd official site said that Lee is an “outstanding player” and that he “will be a great addition” to the team. He will be presented when the team arrives in Doha on August 6th.
