Korean international midfielder Kim Nam-il (33) will remain at the Russian club after his planned move to Al-Shabab failed.
A statement on the Tom Tomsk official site said that Kim Nam-il has returned to the team and that he will play for Tom Tomsk until the end of his contract which will expire at the end of 2011.
After the World Cup Kim Nam-il seeked a loan move to Saudi club Al-Shabab, but this broke down as Al-Shabab opted for Song Jong-guk of Suwon instead, a former teammate of Kim’s.
Kim Nam-il is set to be available for Tom Tomsk’s away match against Alania Vladikavkaz on the 24th. Tom Tomsk currently lies 7th on the RPL table with 5 wins, 3 losses and 5 draws.
