On the 24th, VfL Bochum played TSV 1860 München at rewirpowerSTADION for the first round of the 2. Bundesliga. Jong Tae-se scored in the 38th minute and the 46th minute as Bochum won 3-2.
He scored his first league goal by a diving header from a cross from the right-flank that went straight into the goal. The second goal was an impressive display of strength as he headed in a corner, leaving his marker on the ground.
